PURPOSE:To realize the narrow-band transmission by extracting the new picture information through the comparison with the memorized picture information and then giving the modulation to the coordinates information of the picture element via the nonsynchronous frequency shift keying system. CONSTITUTION:When the picture information are delivered in sequence from binary circuit 7, only the new picture information is delivered from RAM10 and through new information-extraction circuit 8. And the X/Y coordinates data of the picture element are recorded in sequence to shift register 9 to be read in mu-CPU11 as well as memorized in the RAM. CPU11 transfers the X/Y coordinates of register 9 to parallel-serial converting circuit 12 to convert the parallel data into the serial data. In this case, the X/Y coordinates data are formed with each 11 bits to need 22 bits in all. And one frame features 1/30sec. when the picture elements equivalent to two dots with every field, and thus the communication velocity features 1320 Baud. If the modulation is done via modulator 13 for the data and by the nonsynchronous frequency shift keying system, the modulated wave can be transmitted sufficiently in the band of 3kHz. Thus the blackboard information of three characters or so can be transmitted in one second via the telephone line.
