Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the safety operation for the output transistor with the reactance load as well as to prevent the distortion of the amplification characteristics at the high frequency input region. CONSTITUTION:The time constant of the circuit which forms the charge/discharge paths of capacity 18 and 19 is set to the value smaller than frequency fD with which output transistors 1 and 2 are broken by the phase rotation caused by the reactance of load 3 by adjusting resistances 12-15. The frequency fT at that time features relation of fT>fD. At common output terminal A, transistors 4 and 6 are turned off when the output current and voltage feature the same phase to perform the normal SEPP action. In case the phase difference exists with the input signal frequency less than fT, terminal A features the negative potential during the positive period of the input signal to actuate transistors 4 and 5. And then the first amplifier circuit operates to share the output of output transistor 1, thus securing the safety operation. Element 2 and the second amplifier circuit feature the same relation. When the frequency exceeds fT, elements 4-7 are all turned off to give no actuation to both the first and second amplifiers. Thus the switching distortion is never caused.
