PURPOSE:To minimize greatly the size of the delay element as well as to realize a high mechanical rigidity by securing the 3-dimensional reflection of the ultrasonic wave at the fixed reflection point which is on the two slope faces and the both-end faces and within the plane where each delay medium crosses vertically the main face. CONSTITUTION:Two delay media 9 and 10 prossess another delay medium part 11 each on the installation faces of input/output converters 13 and 14 plus the middle part between media 9 and 10. The ultrashort waves are reflected within the same plane each at the fixed reflection points such as (a), (b), (c) and so on and on each side face excepting the junction face to part 11. Then the 3-dimensional reflection is secured at the fixed reflection point within the plane which possesses two 45 deg.-inclination faces plus the both-end faces crossing vertically two slope faces and also crosses the main faces of parts 9 and 10 on the two slope faces and the both-end faces.
