CONSTITUTION:The video signal has the synchronizing signal separated by control circuit 1 and is input to high-speed memories 3 and 4 through high-speed A/D converter 2. Memories 3 and 4 can set arbitrarily the output video signal level for the level of the input video signal. Outputs of memories 3 and 4 are mixed with the synchronizing signal, which is separated by circuit 1, through high-speed D/A converter 5 by synchronous mixer 6. The nonlinear processing of the video signal can be performed in real time by inputting previously an arbitrary I/O characteristic to memory 3 or 4.
