Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of the shape of an armature coil, and simplify splicing work, by arranging a plurality of printed coils on a flexible belt-like insulating material, cylindrically winding the resulting unit coil in predetermined positional relationship, and combining a plurality of unit coils together to form a unit armature coil. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of unit coils 1 are arranged by a printing wiring technique on a flexible belt-like insulating material to form a printed coil 3. This printed coil 3 is cylindrically wound such that a (i)th unit coil 1 from one end of the printed coil 3 is superposed on (n+1)th, (2n+i)th and [(m-1)n+1]th unit coils 1. Each unit coil is electrically connected, and the unit coils connected together are shaped to form a unit armature coil 10. A plurality of unit armature coils 10 are combined together in a staggered manner at, for example, 90 deg. to form an armature coil 11. Thus, an armature coil having improved accuracy of shape and dimensions as compared with those of a winding type armature coil can be obtained. In the armature coil according to this invention, a unit coil connecting operation can be simplified.
