Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a transferred embroidered emblem with high work efficiency, by embroidering the surface of a synthetic thermoplastic resin cloth or sheet, overlapping the unembroidered sections of the cloth or sheet with a base material, thermally bonding the overlapped portions and peeling the embroidered sections from the base material.
CONSTITUTION: The obverse side of a woven or non-woven cloth 1 of synthetic thermoplastic resin fibers or a sheet of synthetic thermoplastic resin is embroidered. A base material 3 such as paper or cloth is overlapped with the reverse side of the cloth or sheet 1. The overlapped pieces are heated and pressed by an iron or the like. The reverse side of each unembroidered section of the cloth or sheet 1 is molten by the heating and pressing. The molten synthetic resin of the reverse side of the unembroidered section is bonded on the base material 3. Therefore, the cloth or sheet 1 is integrated with the base material except for the embroidered sections 2. These embroidered sections are then separated from the material 3, thereby providing embroidered emblems 4.
