PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a pump by selecting small eccentricity to reduce the coefficient of fluctuation of combined clearance. CONSTITUTION:When the eccentricity fe=e/B (e; distance between centers, B; diameter of rolling circle) and the number of tooth of inner rotor is assumed n, the eccentricity is selected to be 0.05 or less when n=1, 0.15 or less when n=2, 0.26 or less when n=3, 0.3 or less when n=4, 0.35 or less when n=5, 0.4 or less when n=6...0.495 or less when n=11 and 0.5 or less when n=12 or more. Thus, the coefficient of fluctuation of combined clearance can be reduced to improve remarkably the performance of pump, particularly discharge pressure.
