Abstract

PURPOSE:To make light the diaphragm plate and to reduce the molding process, by molding each sheet of the cone member and edge member into the diaphragm plate after thermal bonding. CONSTITUTION:The cone member 1 of composite sheet such as high density polyethylene and carbon fiber and the edge member 2 of composite sheet such as high density polyethylene, acrylic fiber, and wooden pulp are used and they are thermally bonded with the heat seal method by the heated metal mold, then the speaker diaphragm plate is made with press molding at cold stage through the use of metal molds 6 and 7. Thus, since no adhesives is used, the diaphragm plate can be light in weight and the molding process can be reduced by molding the edge and cone at a bundle.
