Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify circuits and enable to a calculator to be directly obtained by breaking the DC current to a humidity sensing element through the use of C- MOSFETs and a capacitor.
CONSTITUTION: A humidity sensing element 1 is connected between the point of connection of C-MOSFETs 3, 4 and a grounded capacitor 7. According to the control signal of terminal 8, starting and stopping of an oscillation circuit is accomplished. The oscillation frequency is determined by the time constant by the capacitor 7 and element 1 when the capacity of the capacitor 7 is made sufficiently larger than the capacity of the element 1. According to the resistance value of the element 1, the oscillation frequency changes, whereby the measurement of humidity is accomplished.
