Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and good-S/N measuring unit by causing the light of a gas discharge tube to pass through measured gas and a standard cell and be incident onto two photoelectric conversion elements and making their outputs into AC by a gate means, which switches them alternatively, and comparing them. CONSTITUTION:The light of gas discharge tube 1 is caused to pass through measured gas atmosphere 15 and standard cell 3 and be incident onto two photoelectric conversion elements 6 and 7, and their outputs are made into AC by a gate means which swithces them alternately, and they are compared with each other. For example, the light of He-Ne discharge tube 1 which emits the light of wave length 3.39mu is caused to pass through environmental atmosphere 15, where methane- system hydrogen carbide is measured gas, and standard cell 3 and be incident onto photoelectric conversion elements 6 and 7. Their outputs are made into AC by gate circuits 8 and 9 which are driven by gate pulse generation circuit 10 and are returned to DC again by intergrating circuits 11 and 12, and after that, the comparison operation result dependent upon comparison operation circuit 13 is displayed on displayed on display part 14.
