Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:2-Substituted benzoylpropionic acid derivative of formula I (R1 is H, isopropyl; R2 is H, halogen, etc.; R3 is isopropyl, allyloxy, alkyloxy, etc.).
EXAMPLE: β-(2,4-Diisopropylbenzoyl)propionic acid.
USE: Muscule relaxant, anti-inflammatory agent, PCA inhibitor, immuno-inhibitor, etc.
PROCESS: The objective compound is prepared, e.g. by adding a substituted benzene II dropwise to a solution obtained by dissolving succinic anhydride and anhydrous alminum chloride in 1,2-dichloroethane, while cooling.
