Abstract
PURPOSE: Titled composition of low cure shrinkage, suitable as a sheet material, etc. which comprises a polymer having an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated polyester, a polymerizable monomer and a polymer having an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated bond, an ester bond and a urethane bond in its molecular chain.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A product from the reaction of ε-caprolactam, glycol and/or a polyhydric alcohol and (b) a saturated polyester or (c) polycaprolactam are reacted with an isocyanate compound having an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated bond to obtain a polymer (A) of MW 3,000W100,000, having at least one α,β-ethylenically unsaturated bond, ester bond and urethane bond in its molecular chain. Then titled composition is obtained by blending 3W20pts.wt. of polymer (A). 30W70pts. wt. of an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated polyester (B) and 20W60pts.wt. of a polymerizable monomer (C).
