Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent ion exchange resin particles from clogging and to remove only ion from a suspension by rotating a mesh container with a coarse mesh size within a suspension contained in a reaction container in such a manner that ion exchange resin particles filled in an interior are not flowed out to the exterior. CONSTITUTION:The mesh container filled with ion exchange resin particles is immersed within a suspension contained in the reaction container in a freely movable manner to constitute an ion exchange apparatus. For example, a suspension supply port 6 is provided to an upper predetermined position and an exhaust port 7 of a deionized suspension is provided to a lower predetermined position as well as a predetermined amount of a suspension 8 is stored in an interior of the reaction container 5 to constitute the ion exchange apparatus. Within the suspension 8, is immersed a cylindrical mesh container 10 having a mesh size of an extent not flowing out the ion exchange resin particles 9 filled in the interior thereof into the reaction container 5. This container 10 is rotated at a predetermined speed by a driving electromotor 11. Thereby, the suspension 8 is contacted with resin particles 9 and deionized.
