Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement in the optical adjustment efficiency for setting time axis by constituting the white interference system through the utilization of the micro luminous flux of the main interference system. CONSTITUTION:The white light from a light source 5 enters a Michelson interferometer via filter 6 and its output interference light is supplied to a detector D3 by way of a plane mirror 9, parabolic mirror 10 via sample chamber 11 and oval mirror 12. A plane mirror 13 is disposed in the luminous flux toward the plane mirror 9 of this main interference system and micro-part in the main interference luminous flux is fetched. The fetched micro-luminous flux enters a detector D2 and is used as the signal for setting the absolute time axis origin. In this case, the center burst equal to the main interference wave is included in the white interference output from the detector D2 and the portion near this burst is triggered at a high speed and is pulsed to obtain the marker pulse signal showing a fixed time position with respect to each sample, whereby the setting of the absolute time axis origin is done. The integrated signal is Fourier-transformed, whereby the desired spectrum displaying is done.
