Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform a synchronous running operation of turbines without allowing an intermediate pressure turbine to provide an excess of its thermal stress and differential expansion, by providing a steam stop valve, speed matching valve, reheat steam regulating bypass valve, discharge regulating valve, etc. and equipping a controller for adjusting degrees of each valve opening.
CONSTITUTION: A steam stop valve 31 and speed matching valve 28 are provided between an intermediate pressure turbine 8 and low pressure turbine 10 and between a low temperature reheat pipe 4 and the low pressure turbine 10 respectively. A reheat steam regulating bypass valve 24 for regulating steam from a reheater 5 is provided, and a discharge regulating valve 33 is arranged between the intermediate pressure turbine 8 and a condenser 13. Further a controller 40 is equipped for adjusting degrees of each valve opening. In this way, pressure rise at the outlet part of the intermediate pressure turbine 8 can be prevented thus to relieve the temperature rise in the intermediate pressure turbine 8.
