Abstract
PURPOSE: To greatly economize the quantity of driving steam which is supplied to a steam ejector, by automatically controlling the quantity of the driving steam depending on the deviation of the outlet gas pressure or temperature of a condenser from a designed value.
CONSTITUTION: A detector 1 is provided on the outlet pipe of a condenser C1 to detect the pressure or temperature of outlet gas. The detected value is compared with a designed value by a calculator 3. A signal corresponding to the difference between the compared values is applied to a control valve 5 to automatically control the quantity of driving steam which is supplied to an ejector E2. According to this constitution, the quantity of the driving steam for the ejector E2 can be reduced without causing excess and shortage, depending on the fall in the cooling water temperature of the condenser. As a result, the quantity of the driving steam can be greatly economized.
