Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust the number of oscillation easily and to miniaturize the watch by controlling the capacitor for oscillating circuit by the use of divider output.
CONSTITUTION: The oscillating circuit consists of the inverter 1, resistances 3, 4, crystal oscillator 2 and capacitors 5, 6, 8, an oscillating output is fed to the time counter or motor driving unit through the divider 7. An output of a fixed stage of the divider is introduced to the control unit 10, the output of which turns on or off the switching element 9 to control the capacitor 8. Thus the output of the oscillating circuit is f1 or f2 when the capacitor 8 is turned off or on respectively.
