Abstract
PURPOSE: To avoid repeating phenomena of vertical motion extending over both flowing passages of the water to be treated and to carry out the water treatment having a high separation capacity, by providing the valve mechanism impeding back flow at the descent and ascent flowing passages.
CONSTITUTION: Upper end verge of the outer cylinder 2 is used for the valve seat 11a and the valve body 11b facing against the seat 11a, is provided so as to be lifted up by the dynamic pressure opposing to the weight of the valve body of circulating flowing water at a normal control time, and the valve mechanism 11 impeding the flowing of water to be treated from the tank 3 to the rising flowing passage B at a shut state by its empty weight is constituted. That is, counter current of the water to be treated in the descent and ascent flowing passages A, B, is automatically and reversibly impeded by the mechanism 11 when the dynamic pressure is lowered and surface of the water of the head tank 4 is balanced by controlling repeating vertical motion of the water to be treated in the upper and lower passages A, B by the above counter current impeding action when the water face of the tank 4 is suddenly fluctuated by some outer turbulence. As a result of it, solid- liquid separating capacity of the separation apparatus 5 is improved.
