Abstract

PURPOSE: To constitute a programmable transmitter effectively by linking picture processing arithmetic and selective transmission of a desired part to the control of the control of the unit by building a microprocessor in a low-speed data line.
CONSTITUTION: The transmitter stores picture data in frame memory 309 at a high speed and then performs various picture processing arithmetic over a read of required data by microprocessor 311, thereby sending data out via a telephone circuit at a low speed. The receiver writes the picture data to the frame memory while perfoming picture process and reverse srithmetic of the picture data sent after being processed as mentioned above, and projects a picture on the display unit by reading them at a high speed.
