Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable carefully throughout air conditioning through the wind direction changer of an air conditioner, by using sensors to detect the radiation temperature in a room and a set temperature for the air in the room, using a voltage comparator to compare the temperatures with each other and applying a difference signal from the comparator to control the speed of a motor.
CONSTITUTION: A voltage comparator 8 receives detected temperature signals from a room radiation temperature sensor 6 and a room air temperature sensor 7 to supply a signal to a DC step motor 5 through a transistor 10. Since there is a prescribed relationship between the voltage Vi across both terminals of the voltage comparator 8 and a current Ic which flows from the transistor 10 to the motor 5, the speed of the motor is controlled in proportion to the difference between the temperatures detected by both sensors 6, 7. As a result, the speed of the motor 5 is increased to generate a strong wind to a human body if the radiation temperature rises, and the speed is decreased if the radiation temperature falls. According to this constitution, carefully throughout air conditioning is effected to keep the effective temperature constant.
