Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform electromagnetic driving by providing a stator at both ends of which two magnetic poles indicating different polarities are provided in the space between the magnetic poles of the stator so that the stator can rotate freely. CONSTITUTION:In the case a DC current is flowed through an exciting coil 9, and the magnetic poles 2b and 3b become N and S poles, respectively, one magnetic poles 13a of a magnetic plate 13 of a rotor 11 and a magnetic pole 3b are attracted, and a magnetic pole 14a of a magnetic plate 14 and magnetic pole 2b are attracted. In the case the direction of the exciting current is reversed, the magnetic poles 2b and 3b become S and N poles, respectively, and the rotor 11 rotates in the counterclokwise direction around a shaft 10. Since both the attracting force and the repelling force are applied to the rotor 11 with respect to the center of rotation, the rotor 11 can be started by the large rotating torque at the initial period, and a large working output force can be obtained in an arm 15. After the attraction, a constant attracting force is applied on both sides of the center of rotation of the rotor 11, and more secure holding can be maintained.
