PURPOSE:To enable discrimination of the direction of a received signal in a Doppler speedometer and improve the efficiency of the speedometer by functionally constructing an oscillator, two circulators, two mixers and three matching elements. CONSTITUTION:The oscillated output of a microwave oscillator 1 is partly reflected through a first circulator 2 via mismatching of a matching element 5 to be supplied as a local oscillation power to a first mixer 9, and partly applied to a second circulator 3. Most of the oscillated output in the second circulator 3 is radiated through a third matching element 6 and an natenna 4 as a transmission wave. The reflected wave from the third matching element 6 is supplied through the second matching element 7 into the second mixer 8. The received wave is supplied partly through the second circulator 3 into the second mixer 8, and partly reflected through the second matching element 7 to be supplied to the first mixer 9. Since the received wave and the locally oscillated signal are mixed in the mixer, a Doppler signal is detected in the output of the mixer.
