Abstract

PURPOSE: In the process of putting bank notes in a storage box after receiving them in a tentative keeping box, to pile up the notes in the storage box while preventing them from standing upright by correcting the falling pose of the notes by means of an L-shaped stopper and a slant receiver plate.
CONSTITUTION: Bank notes P are transfered into a tentative keeping box 2 by a conveyor 1. With the box 2 moved in the direction of an arrow X by a motor 3 after settlement of a transaction, the bank notes P are stopped by a rear stopper 4 and fall with leftside down. The left end of the falling bank notes P touches an L-shaped stopper 10, and the notes P fall with rightside down as indicated by an arrow a in the figure. Because a receiver plate 12 for receiving the falling bank notes P is also arranged rightside down, the notes P properly received on the plate 12 without standing upright. Therefore such trouble does not occur that a full-load signal is generated when the number of the bank notes P is under a specified capacity.
