Abstract
PURPOSE: To heighten the contrast of objective lens used in finite distance, by constituting with the front group composed of, sequentially from the object field side, a negative first group and a two-side convex second group, and the rear group composed of two-side concave third group, positive fourth group and positive fifth group, and simultaneously satisfying the specific conditional formulae.
CONSTITUTION: Sequentially from the object field side, the front group is composed of a first group of a negative meniscus single lens L1 and a second group of a two-side convex single lens L2, and the rear group is composed of a third group of a two-side concave single lens L3, a fourth group of a positive meniscus single lens L4 having a strong convex face directed to the image field side, and a fifth group of a positive single lens L5, and an iris S is provided between the front group and the rear group, thus constituting in five groups with five lenses. At the same time, conditional formulae (1) to (5) are satisfied. As a result, an objective lens of high contrast exclusively used in finite distance, such as the objective lens for facsimile, may be obtained. (f is the focal length; r is the radius of curvature; d is the air gap; n is the refractive index; and ν is the Abbe number.)
