Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the evaluation test and the operation training of the entire reception unit including antenna, by emitting electromagnetic waves from the small size antenna turning in high speed, and to enable the installation in the small electromagnetic wave room by reducing the distance between the both antennas. CONSTITUTION:High frequency signal in pulse modulation from the generator 1 is fed to the small sized antenna 2 in high speed revolution when the switch 6 is turned on and emitted as radiation beam. In this case, the maximum side of the antenna 2 is about 18cm which is about the same size as the antenna of the reception unit, and the distance between the both antennas is about 2.6m. Further, the revolution of the antenna 2 is mechanically delivered to the angle detector 7 to detect the rotational angle of the antenna 2. The detection signal is made to the gate signal having the same period as the revolving period of the antenna and suitable width at the operation circuit 8 to turn on the switch 6.
