Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve suitable correction momentarily and automatically, by providing the white color diffusion reflection section in parallel line close to the line subject to main scanning of the solidstate scanner illumination system and operating and processing the output of the scanning element and conversion element through the detection of the photo information from the reflection section with the photo electric conversion element.
CONSTITUTION: The unit provides the contact lens 1 constituting the scanner illumination system of the solidstate scanning element 5 and the white color diffusion reflection section 10 in parallel line close to the line subject to main scanning of the slit 2. The photo information on the main scanning line is read in with the solidstate scanning element 5 via the image forming lens 3 and the photo information from the diffusion reflection section 10 is detected with the photo electric conversion elements 61 to 6n. Further, based on the control by the drive count circuit 71, the output signal of the solidstate scanning element 5 is fed to the signal output processing circuit 73, the output of the photo electric conversion elements 61 to 6n is fed to the output signal processing circuit 75 via the amplifying circuit 74 to perform signal processing respectively, and the output of the both processing circuits 73, 75 is fed to the synthesis signal processing circuit 76 to perform operational processing.
