Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the quality of ink jet record by holding the record medium between the platen and the ink jet head. CONSTITUTION:The gap adjusting arm 6 on the ink jet head is set in between the head pushing spring 7 and the base of recording device, and then the recording medium 2 is held between the platen 5 and the arm 6. By so doing, the quality of the ink jet record is improved by effecting of constant gap between the head 1 and the medium 2.
