Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a small high pressure pump with a simple construction comprising a rotating body with more than two moderate projections at least whose circumference is made of a flexible material and a cylindrical casing containing thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating body 2 which is incorporated rotatively into a cylindrical casing 1 is formed into a triangular shape having three moderate projections for example from flexible material such as synthetic rubber and fluorine resin. Each projection 11 slides in contact with a cylindrical surface 5 in a casing. On the other hand, the casing is provided on the circumference thereof with a suction port 6 and a discharge port 7 while a partition member is so arranged between the two ports as to be pressued in the radial direction of the rotating body 2 in a guide box 9 with a spring and divides the space 12 between the projections 11 and 11 into two chambers 13 and 14. With such an arrangement, it is possible to form the rotating body 2 into a symmetrical shape while sucking and reducing fluid without eccentricity thus simplifying the production.
