Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a plate-like member cutter which is constituted in such a manner that a plate-like member is movable while means for feeding the plate-like member is applying a force in a direction of urging the plate-like member against difining means to the plate-like member, thereby to carry out accurate cutting semi- automatically with a compact construction by improving the cutting accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: A disc-shaped rotary cutter 8 is mounted on the rotary shaft 7 of a motor 5, and the tooth tip 8a of the cutter 8 is projected by a predetermined dimension on the upper surface of a base plate 9 provided on the main body 1 of the device through the opening of said plate 9. Said dimension can be varied by adjusting the height of a motor 5 by turning a handle 6' for lifting and lowering a motor mounting body 6. On the upper part of the main body 1, provided are a feed handle 11 moving away and toward a defining plate 10 sliding on the plate 9 and a feed screw rod 12. Then, press rollers 19W21 are constantly actuated on the plate 9 side through a tension spring 25 disposed between a plate 16 (directly a front surface plate 28 of a low-speed driving motor 18) and a frame 14, thus performing correct cutting by improving the accuracy.
