Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the step adjustment of a watch by feeding a signal through a transparent conductive film, which is formed on a windshield, thereby to rewrite the content in a memory. CONSTITUTION:Only when the signal line L connected with a crown switch or the like is at a high voltage, an input circuit 21 and an output circuit 22 are enabled so that the latter circuit 22 feeds a watch signal to a nesa film (or transparent conductive film) N1 and further to a step measuring device 24 through a detecting circuit 23. When a switch 25 or 26 is operated in case the measured step is out of standard, the condition is transmitted to the nesa films N2 and N2 so that the content of an up-down counter 20 is suitably increased and decreased. Thus, by the selective combination of oscillatory capacitors C1, C2 and so on, the capacitances are varied to adjust the step. After the completion of the step adjustment, when the condition of the signal line L is at a lower potential, the relationship between the watch circuit and an external devices is blocked. Thus, the step measurement and adjustment of the watch can be easily performed without removing the rear cover.
