Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A setting button of a desired spring load value, which is arranged in a torsion bar load setter 11, is depressed in advance. If an operating board 12 is depressed, a change-over valve 8 is switched to actuate a hydraulic cylinder 5 so that an anchor arm 19 is turned by a push member 6. As a result, a torsion is applied to a torsion bar 18 so that its reaction, i.e., the spring load is detected by a load cell 3. When a preset value is reached, the rotations of the anchor arm 19 by the cylinder 5 are stopped. If, at this time, a nut is fastened up to the protrusion of an anchor bolt 20, the spring load of the bar 18 is set. Thus, the setting of the spring load according to the kind of the car type can be easily obtained merely by operating a setting button.
