Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible the detail tests of a body by a simple operation by combining an observing device and a rotating device under a preset condition. CONSTITUTION:The flaw detector is equipped with a rotating device, which has two parallel rolls 8 and 9 having their axes of rotations arranged in the same horizontal plane, and a device for observing in an enlarged scale a round body which is placed on the rolls 8 and 9. These rolls 8 and 9 are automatically turned in the same direction at such a speed as can clearly observe the surface of the body. Moreover, the device can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the respective rolls. The device 3 can be inclined in any position in the vertical plane including the center axis of the body. Thus, the detail can be observed by a simple operation.
