Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A cover body 5 is fixed to a meter case body M by means of a bolt 1. Then, a cover 7 is fitted on the bolt head 2 and the cover body 5. At this time, the taper surface 13A of a bolt head retaining projection 6 of the cover 7 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral edge of the upper and of the bolt head 2, and the protrusion 6 is expanded and forced thereinto. At a position where the bolt head annular groove 8 and the retaining protruding edge 12 are aligned, the retaining projection 6 is returned inwardly so that the edge 12 is fitted in the groove 8 and retained in the bolt head 2 in a clamping manner. Thus, the meter sealing operation is finished by a single action.
