Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the lowering of transmission efficiency, the deterioration of acceleration, the reduction of fuel cost ant the producing of the wear, etc. of a clutch lining, by closing a clutch at ordinary times, and by once releasing the clutch only by the sudden variation of torque.
CONSTITUTION: In a clutch 1 that is mounted to a drive system for connecting an engine 2 and wheels and connects and disconnects the transmission of torque throug the drive system, a detector 3 for detecting the variation of torque and an uncoupling device 4 for uncoupling the clutch 1 in response to the device 3 are installed. The detector 3 shall be a model responding to the displacement of an integral type power unit 6 consisting of the engine 2 and a transmission 5 at the output side to a car body 7. The uncoupling device 4 is composed of a release fork 18, which one end is connected to the clutch 1, and provided with an oil pressure functioning servo 19 connected to an oil pressure control servo 14 in order to operate the fork.
