Abstract
PURPOSE: To readily obtain alloy sheets by pouring the molten metal of Fe-Al-Si base alloy into casting molds provided with slits of the specified shapes and applying centrifugal casting.
CONSTITUTION: Molten of Fe-Al-Si base alloy is poured intothe casting molds provided with slits of torus, radial or the like form in the radial direction to the rotating axis of the casting molds for centrifugal casting and is then subjected to centrifugal casting. This enables the sheet of Fe-Al-Si base Sendust alloy to be obtained extremely readily. In addition, its mechanical strength characteristics and magnetical characterstics are both superior and are equivalent to those of conventional systems. Forming the shapes of the slits in the final shapes enables enables the sheets of the required shapes to be obtained simply by cutting the resultant block.
