In this open state the tip of bymetal chip 27 is contacting against the inner wall face of outer tube 1 to prevent excessive bending of bymetal chip 27. When the lamp is unlighted the bymetal chip 27 is contacting against the inner wall face of outer tube 1, thereby it is cooled quickly to quicken the reset function.
