Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to perform the variable capacity of the compressor without stage or with multiple stage, providing a release port to the cylinder of compressor by installing a variable resistance on the release circuit to connect the suction side to the release port.
CONSTITUTION: A refrigerating cycle is constructed to connect the discharge port 5 of compressor 1 to the suction port 6 through a condenser 8, a regulator 8 and an evaporator 10, a release port 7 is installed to the cylinder 2, a variable resistance valve 12 is installed to the release circuit 11 to connect the suction port 6 side to the release port. With the variable resistance valve opened, a part of refrigerant in the cylinder 2 is by-passed from the release port 7 to the suction port 6 side through the release circuit 11. Then the capacity of the compressor 1 can be regulated freely without stage or with multiple stages by regulating the opening of the variable resistance valve 12 in accordance with load.
