Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the fall in the flowing velocity of fuel and accelerate its atomization, by dividing a slow fuel passage into a bypass part and an idling part and making the cross-sectional area of each part uniform.
CONSTITUTION: The bottom 3' of the vertical slow fuel passage 3 is located in a high position at the upstream side of a bypass hole. The bypass 12 of substantially uniform cross sectional area extends obliquely from the bottom 3' to the bypass hole. The idling passage 13 of substantially uniform cross-sectional area is vertically branched from the slow fuel passage 3. A horizontal hole 14 of large diameter is provided just upstream to the smallest opening-degree position of a throttle valve 4. The bypass hole 6 of small diameter is opened into the hole 14 by drilling or the like. The hole 14 is thereafter filled with a plug 15.
