Abstract

PURPOSE: To write all video signals on the small screen into the memory by reading out the rear edge of the corresponding filed after reading the tip part of the next field.

CONSTITUTION: The small-screen signal SB is written via signal WTE, and signals SB covering up to the terminal excepting start edge f₁₁ of field f₁ through start end f₂₁ of field f₂ excepting vertical flyback time V₂ are written into part A of a pair of memories in period α; and signals SB are written into memory B in the same way regarding fields f₂ and f₃ plus period V₃ in period β each. Then field tip f₂₁ is put before rear edge f₁₂ of field f₁ during period β-C when signal SB is read out from memory A, and then tip f₂₁ and read end f₁₂ are read out in section C and when memory A is read. In the same way, tip f₃₁ and rear end f₂₂ are read out. Thus small-screen signal SB is memorized, and then the information is replaced or the address is altered in order to secure memorization of whole signal SB. As a result, the break of the title and the like never occur at the circumference of the small screen.
