Abstract

The above photographic material contains a compound of the formula shown in which R1 is H, OH, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, acyloxy, aralkyl, or aryl; R2 to R4 are H, halogen, -SO2R5, -COR6, alkyl, alkyeyl, alkoxy, aralkyl, or aryl; R5 is OH, alkyl, akoxy, or amino; R6 is H, OH, alyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, or amino; R1 to R4 are not simulatneously H, and each group of them containing C may be substituted.
