Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an arrangement for adhesive tape cutter, in which means for applying an adhesion preventing material is provided in the vicinity of the end portion of adhesive tape where it is cut by a cutter, so as to prevent tight sticking of adhesive tape to the surface on which the adhesive tape is to be attached and to separate the tape with ease.
CONSTITUTION: When adhesive tape 1 supported on roll-core holding member 2 is drawn out of the roll and cut by cutter 3, top of the portion of tape 1 detached from the roll is sticked to tape-end holding member 4 to facilitate next use of the same. In an adhesive tape cutter arranged as above, means 5 for applying adhesion preventing material is provided at the front or at the back of cutter 3 to apply adhesion preventing material to a portion of adhesive surface of the tape. Here, such a means 5 can be made, for instance, of felt impregnated with silicon resin, which is fitted in a suitable holder. With such an arrangement, adhesion preventing matereial can be applied to tape 1 when it is pressed onto cutter 3 for cutting the same.
