Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption power by detecting the timer set time thereby to control the sound generating time of an alarm.
CONSTITUTION: In accordance with the set value of a timer setting circuit 2 provided in a memory circuit, the coincidence in the timer time generaged by a timer circuit 1 is detected by a zero detecting unit 8-1 of a zero detecting circuit 8, and an FF 9 is reset so that the carrying signals of a sound generating time counting circuit 11 are fed through the AND gate 23 of a switching circuit 21 to generate the alarm sounds for a preset time period until the FF 9 is reset. On the other hand, the set time detecting circuit 8-2 of the circuit 8 detects a shorter timer set time than five minutes so that the circuit 8-1 inverts the output upon the generation of the coincidence zero detecting signals. Thus, an FF 25 is set through the circuit 8-2 to open the AND gate 22 of the circuit 21, and the FF 9 is reset midway of the counting oprations of the circuit 11 so that the alarm sound generating time becomes shorter than a preset time. As a result, the repeated alarm shorter than the set time is shortneed in its alarming time thereby to reduce the power consumption.
