Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the mechanical structure part with enhanced controllability as well as to realize a small size and light weight by switching the tape running direction with the forward and backward turns of the motor and at the same time controlling the driving of the pinch roller and the magnetic head via the combination of the electronic apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: The output of the motor is transmitted to pulley 15 attached to capstan axle 36 as well as to pulleys 13 and 14 which are attached to the leaf axle along with pulley 11 attached to the output axle via belt 12. The electric power is conveyed to the leaf axle only in one direction from pulleys 13 and 14 via free clutches 16 and 17 and with the forware and backward turns of the motor. Pinch roller 31 and magnetic head 32 are attached to lever 34 which rocks centering on flucrum 33. Roller 37 is attached rotatably to one end of level 34, and roller 37 is made to touch cam 38 turning by motor 42 via the force of spring 35. Thus roller 31 and head 32 are shifted with turning of motor 42. And the driving control is given to the tape shifting motor and motor 42 via the electronic circuit.
