Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the transmittance of the filter and let its chromaticity conform to JIS by specifying the spectral transmittance of the color filter which is used as a signal lamp in an airport, heliport or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A light source 2 such as halogen bulb, a reflector 3, a color filter 4 and a light controller 5 such as lens or prism are contained in a lighting device 1 buried in road surface. The light source 2 is so constituted as to permit brightness control in 3 to 5 stages and this controlling causes the spectral characteristics of the light source 2 to change in color temperature within a range from 3200 to 1700K°. For this purpose, the filter 4 whose spectral transmittances have the cut points of 78% or over in the range of wavelength 400 to 520nm, 5% or under inwavelength 600 to 610nm, 3.5% or under in the range of wavelength 550 to 565nm within the range of wavelength 400 to 700nm is used.
