Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely make wire sliding holes and improving the lifetime and heat- resisting property of a printing wire support, by making the support from a polyphenylene sulfide resin containing fiberglass and a polytetrafluoroethylene resin. CONSTITUTION:The printing wire support, wherein the holes for slidably supporting the printing tips of wires of a dot printer are provided zigzag, is made from a mixture consisting of 100 parts of the polyphenylene sulfide resin, 10 to 50 parts of fiberglass or carbon fibers and 10 to 50 parts of the polytetrafluoroethylene resin. EFFECT:The lifetime of the bearing support is at least 50 million times. Because the working processes and working time of the support are much less than those of conventional supports made from ruby or tool steel, the cost of the former support is greatly reduced.
