Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an anti-icing device which is simple to construct and easy to produce, general purpose light bulb or heater elements are installed in blade so that it can be replaced.
CONSTITUTION: Skelton 5 is formed by integrally combining lengthwisely arranged beams 6 and spacedly arranged ribs 7 at proper distance. Then, outboard 8 consisting of good heat conductivity material such as aluminum is stretched over the skelton 5 to form blade 4. The construction is shaped into a cross sction of airplane blade. A number of heat boxes 9 having a plural number of lamps 10 are seacedly fixed all over the blade 4 to the internal surface of the outboard 8. Heat box check window 9a are opened on the outboard 8 and lids 11 are provided to the windows 9a. The lamp 10 limit rediation to heat the outboard 8.
