CONSTITUTION: When electric charge charged to a condenser 4 through a choke coil 3 is discharged through the primary winding 81 of a transformer 8 by means of a thyristor 9, the thyristor 9 is in ON only for a short time by the change of the magnetic flux of a core of the transformer 8, but the thyristor 9 is in OFF because the direction of the change of magnetic flux is immediately inverted. Meanwhile, electric charge charged to a condenser 11 is discharged comparatively slow for discharge time decided by the inductance of the condenser 11 and the secondary winding 82 of the transformer 8. the discharge currents of the condenser 11 are fed to load 17 through the transformer 8.
