Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately and surely control the speed of a motor in a wide range from a low level to a high level, by providing a first and a second control means for regulating the rapid and slow rotation of the motor.
CONSTITUTION: A speed signal from a speed detector 2 is frequency-divided by a frequency division circuit 3 on the basis of an instruction signal from a speed instruction circuit 1. A time count circuit 4 repeats time counting operation on the basis of an instruction signal from the speed intruction circuit 1 whenever the frequency division circuit 3 generates an output signal. A first and a second control circiuts 5,6 decide on the supply or cutting-off of power and determines the duty factor of control pulse signals for controlling the slow rotation of the motor, dipending on the output signals of the time count circuit 4 and the frequency division circuit 3. One of the control pulse signals of the first and the second control circuits 5,6 is selected by a selective feed circuit 7 and applied to a switching circuit 8 for regulating power for the motor. The speed of the motor can thus be accurately controlled in the wide range.
