Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the operation stability and security of generator by classifying the operation status of generator into plural modes of revolution-increasing and parallel-operation, and by inducing the optimum auxiliary signals necessary for the operation of each mode.
CONSTITUTION: Operation statuses of generator, to which electric power is supplied from the power system thru transformer, are classified into Mode No.1 (revolution- increasing) and Mode No.2 (parallel operation); wherein the former status, revolution of the generator is below the scheduled value N1, and in the latter status, the revolution is above the scheduled value N1. At the operation Mode No.1, exciting is controlled so as to keep the ratio of voltage vs frequency V/F not to exceed the set value and provide the exciter circuit of the generator with revolution speed signal ΔN; and at the operation Mode No.2, revolution speed signal ΔN and voltage deviation signal ΔV are furnished to the exciter circuit of the generator.
