Abstract
PURPOSE: To relieve electrostatic concentration by mounting bushings on both sides of a tank and arranging a magnetic shield core perpendicularly to a straight line connecting them instead of tank shield.
CONSTITUTION: A bushing pocket 3A is provided on both sides of a tank 3 to mount a bushing 5. A reactor having a winding 1 and a magnetic shield core 2 is enclosed in the tank 3 with the core 2 arranged perpendicularly to a straight line connecting bushings on both the sides. According to this arrangement, the magnetic shield core comes to longitudinal side of the tank 3, and hence no tank shield will have to be provided particlarly. Furthermore, there is allowd appreciably long distance between the winding 1 and the side wall of pocket 3A, therefore an influence of magnetic flux leakage is sharply decreased. The consitution may facilitate the manufacture and relieve electrostatic concentration, thereby improveing reliability of insulation.
